General Rules

đŸ“˜ School Rules & Policies

  • Students absent for the first three days of a new session without prior leave or information may have their name struck off from the School Scholar Register. Re-admission is subject to vacancy.
  • All students must report to school on time as per the reporting schedule.
  • The school will not be responsible for students after school hours.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to sign:
    • All notices sent periodically.
    • Assignments given as homework.
    • Exercise books where the teacher has assessed work.
  • All correspondence must clearly mention the student's name, class, and section. Parents/Guardians should include their name and contact number below their signature.
  • Private tuition is permitted only for students scoring below 60% in a particular subject, and only with written permission from the Principal. All tuition must stop at least 7 days before examinations. No new tuitions are allowed after the second term test.
  • Parents must ensure their child has completed homework and is well-prepared before coming to school.
  • Parents/Guardians should check the school diary regularly and sign any reports from teachers.
  • Students must not damage school property. Writing on walls or furniture is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be fined. Throwing ink or paint is punishable. Whiteners and staplers are banned.
  • Festival colors, firecrackers, mobile phones, digital gadgets, or any harmful items are strictly prohibited. Possession of such items is punishable.
  • To meet any staff member during school hours, parents must first collect a permission slip from the school office.
  • Once a student has entered the school campus, they will not be sent back home under any circumstances before school hours end.
  • Students must be punctual. Two late arrivals per month are allowed. On the third instance, the student will be marked absent and sent back home.
  • Parents may meet teachers to discuss their child's behavior/performance on working Saturdays after school for one hour. It is expected that parents meet teachers at least once a month.
  • Fees must be deposited as per the dates mentioned in the fee book. Cash deposits are accepted at the bank; only cheques are accepted at the school office.
  • Late fee installments must be deposited at the school fee office along with a fine.
  • A fine of ₹150 will be charged every month for each unpaid fee installment beyond the due date.
  • Fee deposit timing at the school office is from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on working days.
  • The teacher’s copy of the fee slip must be submitted to the class teacher on time for record maintenance.
  • A charge of ₹100 will apply for the re-issue of lost fee books, school diaries, or ID cards.
  • Minimum passing marks in all subjects is 40 out of 100. Passing in English is mandatory for promotion. Promotion is based on the average marks of half-yearly and final exams.
  • No re-test or re-exam will be conducted under any circumstances.
  • Minimum 80% attendance is required to be eligible for term tests or exams.
  • If a student is absent for any test or exam, they will be marked zero for that subject.
